The CO2 injection is planned to start this summer
10.5.2010
In March it was discovered that the gas from the Hellisheidi Power Plant contained high percentage of air. This gas will be lead into the pilot gas abatement plant which feeds the CarbFix project. Due to the risk of explosion and possible impact on the gas content delivered to the CarbFix project all tests were stopped temporary. During the past few weeks the cause has been detected and amendments put into force that have solved this problem. This incidence has inevitably delayed the time schedule for the CO
2 injection, which is now planned to start this summer.
