The shallow monitoring well HK-13 has been repaired

The shallow monitoring well HK-13 has been repaired by a supporting plastic casing. Due to difficulties in injecting the portable pump no samples were taken in the well in December and January. Photos taken in the well revealed that at depth 85-95 m the walls were very uneven. The technicians and geologists at Reykjavik Energy have solved this problem. (Photo: Guðmundur Lárusson)
