Dyradalur - Vörðu-Skeggi

A steep, challenging hike.

The trail starts at an information post on trail 1 in a little valley just south of Klungrin. Up towards the north face of Vörðu-Skeggi, towering above, the trail winds its way to the east where a magnificent view to Þingvallavatn and Nesjavellir opens up. The trail splits in two above Kýrdalir, one leading to Nesjavellir (trail 13) and the one we follow to Vörðu-Skeggi (trail 13 C). - Trail C, ekki 13C!!
